MOTHER OF MILLIONS
Mother of Millions is a post/prog metal quartet based in Athens, Greece.
The band has released 3 albums. Human (2014) and Sigma (2017), got the most positive reviews from the audience and the global music press. Their latest album Artifacts was featured in many lists as one of the best album releases of 2019.
The band performed sold-out headline shows in Athens, has toured around Europe and has shared the stage with genre defining artists, such as Pain of Salvation, Devin Townsend, Leprous, Riverside.
Orbit EP was released in 2022, marking the restart of the band after the tragic loss of its keyboard player Makis Tsamkosoglou, during a live show in 2019.
A tour followed Orbit’s release, while Mother of Millions are currently working on a new album.
Mother of Millions sounds equally massive as cinematic. Intense soundscapes involving elaborate rhythms, folk aesthetics and progressive rock tunes.

fragile temper aus Siegen machen sich auf, Stimmungen auszuloten, Atmosphären zu erzeugen, Geschichten zu erzählen. Vertrackt, aber nie verkopft. Getrieben und doch getragen. Zerbrechlich, wütend, hingebungsvoll, zerstörerisch – dabei immer auf dem behutsam gewebten Teppich bleibend.
Eine Expedition durchs Dickicht progressiver Musik mit dem Song als Reiseleitung. Ihre erste Veröffentlichung shapeshifter (EP) ist im November 2023 erschienen.
