Es war das Ereignis, auf das der Dokumentarfilmer Guzm\u00e1n sein ganzes Leben lang gewartet hatte: 1,5 Mio. Menschen auf den Stra\u00dfen von Santiago de Chile; Gerechtigkeit, Bildung, Gesundheitsversorgung und eine neue Verfassung fordernd, die die strengen Regeln ersetzen sollte, die dem Land w\u00e4hrend der Milit\u00e4rdiktatur auferlegt worden waren. Die Doku zeigt aufw\u00fchlende Aufnahmen von Protesten an vorderster Front und Interviews mit engagierten Aktivist*innen und stellt auf eindrucksvolle Weise eine Verbindung zwischen der komplizierten und blutigen Geschichte Chiles, den aktuellen revolution\u00e4ren sozialen Bewegungen und der Wahl eines neuen Pr\u00e4sidenten her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The revolution was the event for which filmmaker Guzm\u00e1n had been waiting all his life. His film shows the 1.5 million people who were fighting for justice, education, healthcare and a new constitution in the streets of Santiago de Chile and connects the country\u2019s history with current movements and the election of a new president.
